Message from local Tent City Mayor Maureen Klusza

How cool is it that our Mayor didn't graduate from Gally? She loves the community and Gallaudet so much that even though she is a RIT graduate, she is doing all she can for the FSSA and for social justice! Go, Maureen, go! :)

Info shared at tent city:

-main reason why we all got together is to send a message to our gally students that we're with them -- support them.
-we want to make sure that this tent city protest is not being done by people from csd. we represent bay area deaf community.
-we will have rally this wednesday at 3pm and all will be wearing buff and blue colors.
-donations are welcome - see karina, maureen and melinda to give your donations and they will go to FSSA to help gally students with food, etc...
-we came up with a new signing to do chants together by signing : support, support, SUPPORT! (in greg hlibok's stronger, stronger and STRONGER style)
-we are working on having media to come this wednesday during our rally
-our media contact person is rory osbrink
-working on sharing our pictures into jenny's blog where everyone can see all the pictures of our tent city today
-GUAA resolutions were presented
-the students are so brave to start tent city when they have been told they will be arrested for trespassing
