URGENT message from Karina, local FSSA rep

The latest is that BOT is demanding the students to leave the Kendall Green Mall. The students are currently packed by WAB with the faculty and some staff protesting the naming ceremony.
The staff are currently working in fear, the fear that IKJ administration. brought onto campus. They can't join the protest, voice out their opinions because they have been threatened to lose their jobs if they did. There was vocal staff leaders for FSSA and now, where are they? They can't even voice their personal opinion.
There are still some students who are terrified. The community is torn and when you read those links and the stories unveil- your heart aches.
THAT IS WHY we have to continue and stand by them.
Some concern has been brought up, should we contribute $ to send our own reps to inspire and support the torn community @ Gallaudet?
Think it over. Share your inputs, ideas, suggestions. We need all inspiration, support and strategies the FSSA at Gallaudet could use.
TENT CITY RALLY was successful yesterday, resulting with features in SF Chronicle and Fremont's Argus. WAY TO GO!
More information on Bay Area's next step will be announced sometime over the weekend. Fremont has their Homecoming this Friday at 7:30p and we'll have some information ready there.
