Anonymous #2, I agree. If you'll re-read the post, it asks for an AGB member who is sympathetic to signing and to the situation at Gallaudet, in order to help us talk with Levinson and help him realize that this is not one group against another here. It's not against AGB in any way or saying that AGB members are against signing and for oralism.

Membership with AG Bell does not mean the person rejects ASL and supports Oralism. I am a Deaf mother of a Deaf ASL child with cochlear implants. My child attends an oral school and comes home and signs ASL with me and the rest of the family. There are many deaf people who are members of AG Bell who signs. They tend to be the ones who learn sign later in age. Membership with AG Bell does not indicate person is not for signing or use of ASL for educational purposes. Believe me.

I am very suspicuous when Jane told the Board of Trustees about their financial responsibility. That tells me there were something wrong with the fiscal management, This is not new as Mr. Holt questioned Irving Jordan about the $4 million dollar issue. I think its time to let Congress to order an investigation and audit. This may be one of the "possible" reason why Fernandes blackmailing the Board of Trustees. There are too many questions on why The Board of Trustees refused to let Jane resign. Something does not smell right.
